Ingredients:
- 3 cups grated Beetroots
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 3-5 tbsp ghee
- 1/2-1 cup dry coconut powder
- roasted cashewnuts(for decorating)
Directions to Cook
- Put milk and grated beetroot in a heavy bottomed kadai.Boil till thick,stirring occationally.Once it starts thickening,stir continuously.
- Add sugar and cook further till thicken.
- Add ghee and stir on low heat till the mixture collects in a soft ball.
- Spread dry coconut powder in a plate.Prepare the beetroot halwa into small jamun shapes and roll them on coconut powder.
- Decorate with cashewnuts and serve.
